Some places are more than just shops; they become part of the heartbeat of the town. That’s exactly what Taylor’s Coffee & Creamery has done since opening in October 2024 in downtown Waynesville.

Owned by locals Jona Powell, Julie Abel, and Angie Lewis-Wagner, Taylor’s was created as a gathering place where families celebrate, friends catch up over lattes, and neighbors stop in for ice cream or a pastry from a local maker.

And while community spirit is at it’s core, Taylor’s has also been making headlines (and going viral!) with their 34oz iced coffee buckets, latte flights, and sundae flights that bring a whole lot of fun to every visit. In their very first year, they’ve already been recognized as Best Caffeine Kick and Best New Addition to Waynesville; more proof that this storybook café is something special.
