My name is Mariah and I am an animal enthusiast. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Zoology and have taken several pet nutrition courses over the years. I have worked in the pet industry for 10+ years and have 13+ years experience of feeding raw food.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am the owner of Wild Whiskers. I am passionate about pet nutrition and pet wellness. I carry natural pet supplies including food, treats and chews, supplements, toys, grooming, accessories and more!
WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS SPECIAL?
My store is the first store in the area to provide pet owners with a wide selection of natural pet products for dogs and cats with a focus on fresh and raw feeding. I support other small, family owned businesses. There are several brands you will find in my store that you won’t be able to find online or in big box stores. With over 10 years in the pet industry and several nutrition courses completed, I can offer educated information on pet nutrition and wellness. I offer a frequent buyer program for the majority of the food, treats, supplements and some supplies. I also offer a unique pet adoption program for people who have chosen to adopt from a shelter or rescue organization where they can get free products to get their new pet off to a great start!

I love that Dayton has a sense of community. The other local businesses around the store truly have made the process of starting a business so wonderful. We all support each other and work together.
